When One Moment Sparked a Movement

In a defining moment, Mr. Pravesh Dudani an IIT Kharagpur and Stanford alumnus asked himself, “What good is a degree if it doesn’t lead to a livelihood?”. That one thought transformed into a lifelong mission. In 2012, he founded Medhavi Foundation, a not-for-profit committed to skilling and empowering India’s youth especially from rural and underserved communities.

Over 12 years, Medhavi has trained 2,20,000+ youth and enabled 1,90,000+ placements across 20+ states, including 74,000+ in the Northeast. With 200+ Skill Academies, 500+ industry partners, and deep-rooted alliances with NSDC and state councils, the Foundation is changing lives.

The journey evolved into Medhavi Skills University, Sikkim, North East India’s first industry-integrated, employment-linked university. As Founder & Chancellor, Mr. Dudani leads MSU’s mission to empower 5,00,000+ youth in five years with skills, dignity, and opportunity.

From that one moment of doubt, emerged a national force for transformation where education meets purpose, and ambition finds its path.
