Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) Silchar, an initiative by the Medhavi Foundation, is a shining example of how skill development can empower the youth and transform lives. Situated in the heart of Assam, Silchar, Cachar district, this advanced training center is a beacon of hope for countless individuals striving for a better future. Silchar is the headquarters of Cachar district in the state of Assam in India. Medhavi PMKK Silchar is located in Meherpur area and is spread across a built-up area of 15,000 sq. ft in a stand-alone building. The centre was started on 2019 with six diverse job role (trade) training facilities under PMKK / PMKVY govt sponsored training programmes. The centre also offers NSQF aligned paid courses standardised and certified by NSDC. Several other programmes such as NSKFDC, RPL programmes are also conducted. The centre has an annual training capacity of 3000 youths.
